Lameness Evaluation

Pain and/or restricted movement are the most common causes of gait abnormalities or lameness.

The Hospital for Large Animals at the Cummings Veterinary Medical Center at Tufts provides a comprehensive range of clinical lameness services that can rapidly and effectively address the orthopedic needs of patients. The faculty and staff have experience with clinical assessments in a broad range of species, including equines and other large animals.

Emergency service at the Hospital for Large Animals is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. After business hours, it is essential to call before your arrival so our staff can prepare what is necessary.
