Our board-certified animal behaviorist at Cummings Veterinary Medical Center at Tufts offers consultations and training for all dog and cat behavioral issues. Dr. Borns-Weil also provides advice on common behavioral issues on this site.

Meet Our Board-Certified Behaviorist

Dr. Stephanie Borns-Weil, DVM, ACVB

Dr. Stephanie Borns-Weil, DVM, ACVB

Dr. Stephanie Borns-Weil received her DVM from Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine at Tufts University and is a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Behaviorists (ACVB). She currently teaches Clinical Animal Behavior at Cummings School and writes and lectures to both veterinary and lay audiences on topics including aggression, inappropriate elimination, fears and phobias and compulsive behaviors. While her primary focus at Cummings Veterinary Medical Center is dogs and cats, she also treats birds, horses, rabbits and ferrets and consults with institutions such as zoos and aquaria about captive wild animal problems.
